Yea, I ment 16.5
I assume 4.5" back spacing? I tried to mount one up tonight on a 15" rim with a 1.5" spacer but the rim rubbed the caliper, unlike my 15" Allied wheels. I'm thinking 16.5x10, better price. I'm currently running 285/70/17 BFG A/T's on stock rims and I'm not happy with the look. The tires are tucked under the truck too far, and too small. The FJC just looks so much better with the bigger tires under it and I can always use the clearance. I'm not consurned with gas milage, I lost 3mpg with the bigger BFG's. I'll miss the performance but I think it will be a fair compermise. Any thoughts?

p.s. and I don't like the idea of spacers.

Go for it! And let me know if you want to give me a good deal on those BFG's...

16.5 inch tires are not the best choice if you want to air-down. they do not have internal beads. Runnning them under-unflated will cause the beads to pop.

I have a set of 315x70x17 that I will be putting on in the next week or so and those are 34.4" tall and should fit real nice with the Dobinsons suspension.

Cheers,

Michael
