Maybe I'm out of the loop, but this is all new to me... Anyone know about plans to bring to the US?

Looks like fun. Ahhh, a stick-shift-- I sure miss that.

Pic 21 would be fun to retro-fit into our 80's...

If I were on this media-circus 'off-road' trail, I'd be tempted to take a shortcut.
Pretty interesting... I especially like the information center in the center dash. Not so much the screen, but the compass temp etc. I definitely like the return to what APPEARS to be a more compact, shorter-wheel base design (110" for four-door, 97" for two-door).
It looks very much like the land cruiser is becoming a "4Runner plus 10%." Traditionalists may bemoan the loss of 'off-road-worthiness' (IFS, difficult-to-clean interior), but the new technologies of HAC, DAC are neat.
