anyone running an Edelbrock Carburetor on their FJ40, with a stock engine v6, 4.2l? if so can i get some feedback?

If so, which Edelbrock carbs fit in place?

I am confused, should i stick with Aisin? or go Edelbrock, for that matter would an Edelbrock give a better performance / power?

I havent heard good things about weber and Holley carburetors fit on a 40.

HELP?

I ran an EBrok on my cruiser for a while and took it off. The float bowl is to big and would always flood when off camber. There are mods to the carb to correct this. I gave up and run a Rodchester.

which type of Ebrock carb did you run?

is it possible for you to provide me with the Rodchester (its rochester no?) carb info? how does it run too? better performance, more power, less mileage etc...

I would appreciate it alot...
thanks

Go Aisin:meh:

If you already have it, get it rebuilt, get it set up right and it'll be real nice.

Search around, there are a bunch of threads on the pro's and con's of aftermarket carbs.

Of, fancy up your 2F and go TBI:grinpimp:

Had an Edelbrock on a V8 that flooded all the time. I installed the spring-loaded needle and seats as advised by tech support. Still flooded when off-camber.

What carb did you end up going with on your V8? I just installed and Edelbrock on my V8 but have not run it off road yet.

ok, if I want to replace my Carburetor with another one to get more power, do i replace with a Weber 38, a rochester, a Holley or an Edelbrock???

appreciate all the feedback. thanks
