Anyone own a 2001-2004 Tacoma (1 Viewer)

happened to me once awhile back in a chevy truck and it was the transmission.
Not saying that this is your issue but they sound quite a bit alike.

Thanks, was it the transmission itself that was bad or the way it was mounted?

It ended up being something inside the transmission that they were able to fix without rebuilding.
I think it was a band slipping or something.

Thanks for the help, you were right about the transmission, the transmission mount that had two bolts that weren't all the way in!
