Anyone near New Haven? I need a trailer looked at quickly. The guy doesn't have a camera and I don't want to drive all the way down there without knowing what I'm going to see. PM me if you're nearby.
Thanks!

I work in New Haven, but I work nights and I wont be working again till Friday? Lemme know the details and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks anyway Mike, I am going to pass. The seller seems sketchy.

HEY, that's my dad you're talkin bout! Seriously though, that is my dad. I can tell you all you need to know about it. It's just a rear axle with a 2x2 box frame welded to it. Not sure what he is askin for it, but the axle was mine and I know it is good. Pretty sure the third is there and the shafts.

We are just trying to unload a large collection of cruiser parts and other stuff cause long story short, it's gotta go. If you don't want to talk to my dad, I understand, call me and we can work something out. 860 281 six146. Josh.

Krazyfj, Kina, Jim and many others can vouch for me if you still are sketched out. I don't want to know the details, but I'm not surprised you called him sketchy. He's going through a lot right now. I didn't put two and two together till your last post and I've heard nothing about your conversation but I do know he put the trailer up in New Haven craigslist and am assuming this is the one.

I'm also on my way down today with a camera so call me if you want some pictures.

Sorry, I didn't mean to call your Dad sketchy. :o

The one or two word email answers and no camera kind of turned me off. I couldn't get a good description out of him. If it is just a box, then it is not really what I'm looking for. He is asking only $250. Thanks for the offer to take pictures though.

No worries. He literally just learned how to use email last week. I was actually shocked at that alone. Happy cruisin.

 I just saw this thread. Josh, spoke to your dad last week on the phone. Certainly not sketchy. I hope I didn't hurt his feelings when I said it sounded nifty, but not something I needed. ;)

For those wondering what on earth we're talking about: trailer off road gear hauler - $250

He said it was basically a tube frame with a cruiser axle with no third.........didn't think to ask him how he did that. :hhmm: Maybe if I get the 25 out this weekend I'll give you a ring and rummage through your junk pile.

Mike- the trailer has a cruiser axle under it, but I do have an 83 mini rolling chassis with tranny and some older 4" springs you can have if you take it all. Frame is nothing special, but the front and rear are complete.

Jim- come on by and see if there is anything you need/want. Bring the pickup, the price is right. I'll be there pretty much all day Saturday, and if you come around lunch, you might get lucky enough to score a steamed cheeseburger!

Strap it to the roof! :hillbilly:

This is actually stashed somewhere else, so it doesn't need to go as fast. But it's yours if you want it. It can be torched, but is in the woods so it needs to be done when Smokey the Bear says fire danger is low! We can surely figure something out. It is a rolling chassis with old 35 swampers on it. And it all needs to go. Let me know and its yours.
