Anyone looking for a Sr. Test Engineer or have any contacts within the auto industry?

The startup I was in decided to go in a completely different direction from when i first started. I am currently looking for advanced automotive engineering positions in the southwest/west coast. Ive had 2 phone interviews with tesla, which i hope will pan out well, but it never hurts to throw my name out there. Below is a link to my linkedin, if you know of anyone, let me know! Best of luck. This job market is jacked. I'd rather deal with used car salesman than recruiters. You're right to hedge your bets. Search like a mercenary and you'll need thick skin.

For sure, my dad has worked for boeing/mcdonnel douglas for 30 years, i know a ton about the aerospace industry.

Its funny you mention that, i used to test at Nissan under a DOE contract (I have my proving ground license) and I always saw T. as well as H. and B. out there.

Harley always looking in Yucca.
Honda is expanding out. Will be looking for people soon. Out of state.

Injector Dynamics in the east valley was looking for a bit.
I might be looking for motorcycle riders soon. We are still in planning stages.

Oh and I forgot.
Google and Apple are looking for people.
Unfortunately it's in the Bay area.
Cost of living sucks.
But it's extremely competitive and long term.
I bet the openings at Tesla are because of.
So read any employment contracts carefully.
