I'm looking to get some sliders for my 80. Y'all know of anyone local who make them? I'm wanting some similar to the OPOR's that Metal Tech sells but a bit different. Any suggestions locally? Thanks.

From the looks of the Metal Tech OPOR sliders, I'd say Cox Welding service in Plano can make those to your specs.

Owner=Keith 9724231333

CK Customs in Ennis does fabrication like that.

Josh (aka Flank) in our club just made a set for his 80.

It's funny you mentioned CK. I didn't realize the original poster was in Waxahachie. I actually know the owner of CK (Cal). Yes, I'm also sure he can recreate those sliders.

Ennis is right down the road from me so I'll check with CK. Thanks!

I talked with Cal @ CK Customs. Seems like a nice guy! Waiting for him to check out what I want and get me an estimate. Thanks for telling me about him!

Please keep us posted :) If it is local I may be interested in one set. Thanks for the research !

I will post back. It'd be nice to have someone in Texas, especially north Texas, that does Yota fab work! Shipping is outrageous on sliders, bumpers, etc. He's supposed to contact me tomorrow.

Just got off the phone w/Cal @ CK Customs. For the way I want my sliders built it is going to be $500 w/mounting hardware. Price WILL vary depending on how you want yours built or what you want built. He said he can do pretty much any fab work. Most of his business has been Jeep fab work but is capable of just about anything. He's located in Ennis, Tx. He accepts cash, checks, & credit cards. If it's a 1 off piece he'll need the vehicle for meaurements & fitment so he gets it right the first time. Seems like a nice honest guy that knows his stuff. $500 is about the same price as the OPOR sliders, when they're on sale, but w/out paying shipping so his price is good. His # is (972) 878-0035 if anyone else is interested in custom fab work in N. Texas.

**I'm not associated w/CK Customs & am not receiving any money for relaying this info. Just merely letting people know of a custom fab shop that's local w/good prices!**
