Anyone else have an RC crawler? I got an Axial SCX10 about a year ago with some mods already on it and did a few more myself but haven't used it much. It would be nice to find some other people to RC wheel with in the Sacramento area.

Drilled & weighted wheels, longer upgraded shocks & springs, almn suspension & steering links, upgraded ESC, brushless motor & lipo battery.

I thought about getting one of these but liked the scale look more and couldn't pass up the deal my boss gave my on the Axial.

Axial has some nice rock racers. I like the crawler because I'm slowly building a rock garden outside my apartment with rocks from around the complex:D

I got bored with my crawlers pretty quick. They arent fast, which is what I like my RC's to be. And they don't crawl like their 1:1 scale brothers.

The one thing they do have going for them, is they never break anything :D

The crawling seems to be pretty close to the real thing with mine but I've modded the wheels and changed the shocks and springs. I'll probably relocate my ESC and battery this weekend to get the center of gravity lower and I'm going to see if I can increase the turning radius too.
