I keep seeing powerlines that might be missing "No Trespassing" signs.

Anything local to Raleigh?

Or perhaps the Wilson's Creek area?

I'm down, unless it's just a mudfest.

Luke, I am interested so long as it is legal to be on the land.

There lies the great question. Where is it legal anymore locally?

I did take 42 East a couple weeks ago roughly from 1 south to 401 in Fuquay and saw a number of trails rolling off that 2 lane highway. Much of this area appears barely changed in comparison to the rest of the triangle.

Again, with the Wilsons Creek area thing. I'm not sure where the trails are but there are supposed to be some on that side of the mountain.

If you honestly do care, there's NOWHERE in Wake County.

If you don't have explicit permission, it's NOT legal.

http://www.nc4x4.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15304 has the list of everywhere public.

There is a "playground" that's private land with frequent invites just west of Asheboro, we've had a well-driven Jeep Cherocar on 33's & one locker do quite a few obstacles. check the NC4x4 "upcoming events" for that.. I know there's an open invite this coming Sunday - Saturday is a Rock race that will be a BLAST to watch.
