So the wife, sister-in-law, and I headed out to meet the family for Thanksgiving in Carmel on Wednesday last week, while we were headed out of Reno/Verdi going up 80 just past the Gold Ranch or whatever that last gas station/casino is I see this white lifted 60 in front of me. Get up close to the guy and he is driving a SOA 60 with what looked like 37s and had a sticker on the back window Great Basin Overland.

They have a small site and looks like they focus on doing overland conversion/fabrication for lots of cars but wondering if anyone knew the driver (his is pictured on the site) and if maybe we should extend an invitation to the next meeting and/or here to the MUD.

Looks interesting. Will be checking back frequently for updates.

everybody it seems is getting in on the "overlanding" thing. full circle?

scary.

I kind of hate the picture on the front page. It's not very good PR for the [STRIKE]overland[/STRIKE] off road community to show a couple of trucks parked on top of sage brush.

Yeah looks to be like they are just starting their web presence. Don't know may be worth talking with the guys though.
