I'm in the market for a new welder and came across a combination of TIG welder Plasma cutter.
Do any of you have experience with this set-up and how easy is it to switch from one to another in practice?

Who makes it? I have a Tig/mig/stick combo welder made by ESAB but I have never seen a Tig/plasma cutter combo.
After dealing with my combo machine I wish I had separate units.

I have a Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 51 and its good for up to 1/2" but will do a sloppy 5/8" cut. I plan to sell my welder and buy a Miller tig and a Miller mig welder

Here in Holland we have a company that sells Freetech. It is a combination of TIG an MMA welder and a 40A plasma cutter, up to 12 mm. It looks like its a Chinese machine.
I understood from a Welding company the DC TIG welders are oke for home use, when you want to use AC/DC for aluminium they are no good. For Plasma no one knows. I decided to go for the separate one's, just gone save a bit for a good MIG and go from there. I don't weld Alu so the Tig will be a simple one.
