Hello from Finland!

I just registered on here.

I have been looking at landcruisers for sale here in Finland, and the BJ75 looked very interesting!

They were sold both as pickups and as wagons.

Im especially interested in the wagon model.

I know that they came with factory lockers front and back and mechanical winch, are the axles the same as on the HJ61s? They look narrower.

3B engine 90hp, and a 2.1ton car doesnt sound like its a rocket but is it "driveable"?

I know some models of LC had roofs made of plastic or something, how about these BJ75s?

And heres a picture of the model i have been looking at, im not sure what i think of the paintjob though!

I think one of the axle shafts will fit from a 60 series, maybe the short side but overall the 60 is about 70mm wider
The plastic roof top is fibreglass and resin and is called an FRP top and was sold with the 73 and 74 series which are a bit shorter than a 75 series and more closely related to the 75 series pick ups because they share the fold down windscreen and doors.
Some good info here on 7* series models. www.brian894x4.com

Anything is drivable depending on the drivers attitude. Some people get their underwear in a knot if their diesel landcruiser cant get to 60kph in 2 seconds. The 3B engine will be a bit slow , but it will get you there

Does the one you are looking at have a 4sp or 5sp. The 5sp will be a little more driveable if you have to do highway klm.
A lot of owners have done successful turbo installations on these for a bit more HP.
