I got caught in the big hail storm on I-10 on the way home tonight. No I wasn't drinking at the time.
I still can't imagine golfball size hail in Phx when it was 98 degrees out in the summer. Anyway, it got my hood and roof, not a lot but a couple of nice size dings.
Anyway, I'm looking for advice regarding insurance. I don't want call my agent to report it only to be told that I owe a $500 deductible, have $700 worth of damage and now have my truck on the Car fax report as having had hail damage. On the other hand I pay premiums so I'd like for them to fix if it won't kill me out of pocket.
Anyone speak from experience when it comes to hail damage claims?
Thanks,
Norm
