I am not trying to bum free hunting land, just looking for someone who likes to hunt turkey that wouldnt mind a beginner coming along.

I am not a new hunter, just new to TURKEY hunting. I have been bitten by turkey fever and I havent even been yet.

Looking for somewhere "AROUND" the Wichita area, or at least within a couple hours.

Anyone got a turkey gun they are wanting to get rid of???

Well, i got that little buck on the last day of buck season, but I didnt get to fill my 2 tags for does.

I tried something new this year and it was a HUUUGGEEEEE mistake. I could have filled BOTH tags in a matter of 2 minutes if I had just sat where I had originally planned, but NNNNNOOOOOOO, like an idiot, I decided to try somewhere different and they all walked right passed where I had thought about sitting in the 1st place. They were all 300+ yards away and walking away from me. :crybaby:

Now, its on to turkey. Just gotta get my shotgun tapped for a full choke or find someone with a gun for sale.

I've heard of these bird herds ;p .... Not sure when the flock that started, but we have herds of them just west of Wichita too.

I'd hook ya up with the guy whos land they were on, but after the last time he and I "visited" he prolly won't be too happy to see me........

I've got herds of Turkey as well. I've seen 30+ birds on numerous occasions. Heck the deer practically have turkey riding around on their backs. Now it's the quail that I miss. We used to have tons of them....now I only see one or two very small covies.....so few of them, I won't shoot them. I'd like to get them some quail viagra or something to see if they'd kick up production.:D

Shoot 'em in the butt------>:doh:

ok...so i can't spell...but i do have an fj45swb...:D

I would normally say to anyone bragging about their newly aquired fj45swb

U SUCK!

But you have my f-toy rear suspension soon so I won't say that :D

The quail won't take the viagra! It makes it too hard to fly. You need a good bird dog. Them dogs can get those birds up!

Hey Marc,

Very cool. I will probablly come out with my wife sometime. I may come out in the fall, the fall season ends Jan. 31st so I dont have much time.

If I dont make it out in the fall, I will DEFINATELY make it out in the spring season if thats cool with you.

If you shoot me your number on a PM, I will call well before coming out.

Thanks again for the offer to hunt your land man.

Yeah, I lost several "POSSIBLE" hunting areas when I was in the same job field. Funny how they dont like you much anymore after punishing them for their wrong doings.

Turky huntin is a sport I also was thinkin bout pursuin. Might have the time soon due to loss of steady emploment. I've seen a lot of em out deer huntin round Fall River lake. Jus all over. How to go bout locatin em? I have read very little but I remember mention of usin an owl call very early to get em to answer while still on roost.

Derrick an I were also thinkin bout huntin hogs down ta Texas sometime. Looks ta be purdy excitin an good eatin too. He also mentioned he would like to go on one of then Texas striper fishin trips.

Shure hope I have the time to go deer huntin this fall. I go muzzle loader season in Sept. But, my Dad took ill this past one so he got better an we ain't eatin deer meat.

C Ya, Don P.

Never had wild turkey. Texas hogs are good eat'n for sure. I had four people trying to fill a deer tag for me this year and I struck out.....

I'm not into hunting, my obsessive compulsive side is bad enough with wheel'n, I'd hate to see all the junk I'd end up hav'n to store if I got into hunting too. I gotta have a hobby to keep from going crazy (er) but I can only have one.
