Wow. Looks like a very well taken care of truck. Amazing that it only has 60K miles on it. I notice that $13 K is only the current bid. It'll be interesting to see what it ultimaltely sells for. I don't know what FJ 60s sold for in 1983, but even at 13K that's awfully good resale value.

$13K, wow, not way I would ever pay that.

Yeah looks like CC in the last pic.

beaumont...in the first picture that looks like a plug to hook a hose up to to make the flushing of the radiator easier. In the third picture i don't know what the heck that is...might be something for the trailer air brakes.

I emailed him when it was at 6 grand, and he said he was asking 14k for it. Looks like he'll get that and then some.

A 62 just closed on ebay for 20.5k, I think it's been discussed on here. A suspicious 30k miless truck with a total engine rebuild and a full respray. At least in my opinion. I agree though, this is a great resale value.

13 Grand?

Well .....I bit the bullet a couple of weeks ago and spent 10 grand for an 85 FJ60 with 52525 miles on it.

It was a one owner, old man, Arizona, garage kept, full service records, honestly like new condition. I would not spend any more, but I live in a remote part of Alaska, have two full time jobs, Fisherman and school teacher. For me I am shorter on time than money.
I picked it up and drove it from Phoenix to Simi Valley with my son, fun trip, no problems

Just doing my part to keep the resale value up for the rest of you. Thank me when you sell your for more than you paid for it.

It is sitting at Man-a-Fre right now waiting for the OME lift, larger tires and bumpers. When it is done, my son and I will drive it up north, just before fishing season.

With all that said, this web site has provided me with a ton of great information

way lot of "orange peel" in the paint on that rear quarter panel. could be the light effect in the photo...My 60 is cleaner, no lie. (not for sale, this an't no "ad")

The Cruise control arm is on the steering colum forward of the turn signal stem.

I'd be woried about that brake control at the right side of the lower dash, right there at knee cap level..What has he been towing that needs a brake control; horse trailer, big ass boat? 60k miles of heavy towing?

What ever,

Man. I can't type or think?

Left side of of steering wheel is where the brake control is,

Yes, under the hood the canister is the cruise control, looks like it may run on a vacume, or could be electric motor in there. I had a similiar CC on a 87 fj60 would surge like a SOB, go up a hill it would hold say, at 60, top the hill it would run up to 90 before it settled back down..scary as hell, of course nice on relative flat runs
