I need to see how much room I have when I convert my toyota steering pump to a saginaw. DOes ayone have a WDorry pump bracket (without a pump on in) that I could see and how it attaches to the block?

Hope this answers your questions; the PS pump bracket mounts to the engine mounting bracket.

here's a pic of the slightly revised bracket kit. the pump bracket and adjuster bar are now laser cut and formed. bill used to machine them on a mill but that is extremely time consuming. the new brackets are the same thickness as the originals.

i have plenty of pump bracket kits in stock. they sell for $85 including shipping. still waiting on the ps box mount kit though. pricing hould be roughly the same.

thanks a bunch!

I know Georg, didn't think about it. I need to figure out what to do with my air filter and I have a double pulley that I would liek to work a York into it , but wanted an idea of what I have to work with.

I have my 60 series pump using the old smog bracket and it just clears the air filter and i know that is an issue.

From what it looks like, it will be level with the large bolts on the top of the manifold. OK, time to think of a different air filter (unless you have some mojo info for me). THanks Georg and I'll let you know when I am ready to buy it. Since my buddy has a sag pump and I will be installing ram assist into his, I should have a good idea of where to go from there.

fwiw, you can use an oem air filter on an F engine with the ps pump mounted up high. you'll need to buy the proper air filter setup from marv at sor; the ones out of an fj56 firetruck will work since they cross over the valve cover. ;)
