My truck currently has a set of baja mtz 31 tires that came with it, driveable but will need a new set soon.

I'd like to go a bit larger, probably 33s. Not to open a can of worms but I'm also curious about thoughts on the best tire/size to put on and still have the truck useable as a daily driver.

Also, if anyone has a single tire I could use as a spare, doesn't have to be in great condition I'd be interested.

Thanks,
ANdre

I have 33" TSL swampers on my Cruiser. Its not a daily driver but I could live with them as a daily driver. If I were you I would look into the Goodyear MTR.

MTR's suck. For daily driving and occasional wheeling Interco Truxus M/T.

I have a spare 31X12.5X15 here at the house in good shape. No dry rot and mounted on a shiny rim of unknown origin.

I have a set of 31X10.5X15 tires on brand new 15" white wagon wheels. Tires have some minor dry rot but for $200 they're worth it. Rims alone cost more

I threw it out there because not ever one wants a swampper for the daily rig.

My buddy had 35" Truxus on his daily driver Yukon and it drove nice. He never wheeled it buy hey its a swamper. As long as its not a Thorbird your good.

I have the 34" trxus on my DD and while they have not been bad they suck to balance but they wear slowly wich is nice

Thats why I will get balancing beads for my next set of tires. Both Nat and Rick run them.
