Anyone have a '88 FJ62 FSM I could borrow?

I've got a '88 3F-E and cowl/engine harness I'm trying to adapt to my '73 FJ40.

I've searched high and low and have not been able to find an affordable FSM for the '88. In particular, I'm looking for the full color wiring harness to help me connect the ECU.

Any help would be most appreciated!

Thanks for the link, Greg! I've been looking all over for a '88 FJ62 color wiring diagram to help me with my 3F-E conversion. Do you happen to know if any of the manuals you linked has color diagrams?

Yesterday, I started working on my harness with a color diagram someone gave me. After I started to tear into the harness I noticed things weren't matching on the schematic. I am pretty sure the excerpts of the FSM diagram I got are for the later 3F-E from an 89 series or something so now I'm back in the hunt for a good schematic.

I havent actually dug into the 62 manuals so dont know if they are color or not. I know the Trollhole has a thread in the vendors section that has all the manuals from ALL series so you might check there. I think I remember reading about 88 having a slightly different harness then 89-90 but I could be wrong.

I've got the toy FSM, but its NOT color. The colors are designated blk, wht etc.

I'm really getting worried that Toyota didn't even have a color schematic for the '88 FJ62. I've got a .pdf copy of the FSM and it has an absolutely lousy diagram of the ECU wiring. SOR has a schematic for every single model except the '88 FJ62. Thank god.


When I started this conversion, I had found a full color schematic online that I planned on using. I now suspect the color diagram is for a later 62 or FZJ80. It is very close... but I noticed that it disagreed with my harness at the ECU connectors.

I'm really depressed.
