i think a stock 62 drive shaft is the perfect size for my swap. If remember correctly the 62 shaft is a little shorter than the 60. If you have one and can measure it for me i'd love to pick it up tom or monday

Front or rear?

rear, i've got one lined up locally if the measurements line up like i hope they will.

just found a pic comparing H42 with spacer/h55 drive shafts to that of the 62 and the 62 also has a longer front DS so depending on it's length it might work for me as well

I've searched all over google and mud and can't find the measurments for the 62 shafts from flange to flange fully compressed anywhere.

I hope they work as my 86 shafts are in good shape and would work well for anyone in an early 60 or a 62 doing an H55 swap. I'd hate to cut them up at the drive shaft shop if 62 axles work perfectly.

The rear 62 shaft seems to work great. Huge thanks to John lee. I will test ot out at full articulation when I fire her up Tom.

I may need a 62 front shaft, at sitting position I am at 31", maybe someone has one th,ey can measure for me?
