Anyone good with sheet metal?

Any of you guys good with sheet metal forming (or know someone who is)? I want to have something made up for the GF to match these plastic sphere-like things for holding hay in the chinchilla cage. They keep chewing up the plastic and rendering them useless so I want to get a couple aluminum ones made that they can't destroy.

Hey, we got three chin's and we use something called a veggie basket. It is a large wire ball where the wire is vertical but the spacing is a bit wide so we wove wire horizontaly to help it hold the hay better. The wife says the small ones will hold hay without adding the wire...here's a pic.

Could you just blow up a balloon to the desired size and wrap it in baling wire?
