Of course there will be wheeling why else would we go... It maybe easy stuff but it will be cool see some friends and hanging out. Still bummed about Alpha shut down but I think it may re-open in a few months when it cools down. Pete I won't get off on friday either... wont be at camp til late friday night as well..

I am planning to go but not sure which day(s)... will shoot for friday eve arrival. Hopefully 85sfarrunner can take us on a ride to see some of the cool hills pictured on the website
Does anyone know how rides/etc get "scheduled" for this? I hear there may be a trash pickup saturday a.m. but beyond that...???

Scheduled rides

after we pick up trash saturday morning I propose we organize a scavenger hunt. The first item on list is an X-large size Mechanix glove that was cleverly hidden by Frank and I over the christmas run...

I'll be at the campgrounds Friday morning along w/ a few others to claim our spot and get a prerun in.

How familiar are you guys with the forest around Oklawaha? There are a few decent spots up there but a lot if it has been closed.

I know a couple of trails in the south end of the forest that are fun. I want to find some new stuff on the prerun.

Most of these trails have mud, water crossings and lots of pinstriping .

Depending on how the Sat. morning meeting goes we may attend the events at Rodman sand pit or just hit the trails.

If any of you want to join us (TTORA) I'll make sure there's plenty of room to pitch a tent. Shoot me a PM if you want my cell #.

...yeah you gotta sleep in a tent with me, its no different then sleeping in bed with me your feet still stink...but I love ya way too much to kick ya out;p

Especially if ya take the 'back roads' from Plymouth to Altoona
then use FS roads to the camp

85sfarrunner, I can't claim to know much about trails in the north area despite Frank's flattering Magellan comment. . We can always wing it but hopefully someone will have some ideas. "Magellan" can provide a route from S to N but after that...?
We should plan for an armed procession since we'll be passing through the ocala triangle where people keep getting killed.
