Long story short, CBT replaced the #2 speed sensor (in the tranny) to correct the P1700 code but the code kept coming back. It finally went off, I picked it up, and it came back on after driving home. In the tech's notes it says if it comes back on to replace the ECU due to a glitch. I bought a replacement ECU (used) and replaced it. It was code free for about 100 miles and came back on. I suppose the replacement ECU could have the same glitch but I was wondering if anyone here has encountered and conquered this issue. No helpful threads were found in the tech section where the problem was corrected.

Thanks,
Paul

Yeah I saw that. Hopefully that's not the case, I just figured the tech would have mentioned that.

Thanks

Thought I should update this. Murph and his team got it all sorted out. It ended up being a wiring issue. CBT saves the day again.
