I went on this run last year and had a blast. B&D Fabrications had a run they called Mud Flex & Gears, not the band Blood Sweat & Tears from the 60's, it was held at Flat Nasty Offroad park just South of Salem MO. Man the trails are great, trails starting at beginners to a hill that has over a $3,000.00 BOUNTY on it in cash and prizes. The run had experienced trail guides that were awesome last year. I'm just a novice at wheeling but when I was finished at 2:30AM I felt more experienced and a LOT more tired. I took my 16 year old son and the weekend together doing what we enjoy was worth every minute of it. BUT if you plan on camping take a heater for your tent, we ended up in the CJ with the heater on at around 5am.

Almost forgot about the prizes, this year the grand prize is a set of four PitBull Rockers with second prize being a T-Max winch.

Check out the information at B&D Fabrications website.

That sounds like the same prizes that were out there during the TLCA event last Fall. That place rocks and it's only a 30 min. drive from my house. There's a Toyota group going out there this Saturday if you didn't already know. Be there by 10-11:00. Check out the chit chat section for more information (StL event).

Stuck for Brian ;)

BD Fab is one of our new advertisers, this outta be a great event!!

ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

My IFS front end doesnt care much for FN...... broke it for the 4th time again today, on er-um.... the "bunny" hillclimb:lol:

Oh well solid axle is under way-

I had a blast, nice to meet everyone today- maybe next time ALL of us will bring CB's!

That section of the bunny trail was actually a yellow and turned out pretty fun past the hill climb. It led into some rocks before turning into a nice easy green trail. That climb kicked ass. My wife got back in the truck and said, "holy crap, we just climbed that hill."

MoJ and WFD175 - sorry I missed you. I had a great time even though I had to ditch early to get back.

Many thanks to Bryan (XT) for constantly getting out to spot my 80 in the tight turns. I had a blast and I'll definately be going back when I have a lot more time to spend, and a working CB to find Bryan when he takes the tough trails and I have to follow the green trails :)

that "tuff" trail I took was a mistake!! I was just going to turn around.
I got into a bad position on that hill side and had to have some "weight" put on the back of my 4runner (steve!) had to hold the rear down while I was trying to turn around on the hillside..

I had a great time and really enjoy spotting for you guys, a good spotter is priceless as you seen. it makes a world of difference having someone who can see all of your rig from the outside (like when you *Meischa* felt like you were going to tip on some side hills!!)

Added to the weekend is the First Annual Mud-Flex & Gears SWAP MEET!
Bring what you have for sale and extra money to buy what you need. This looks to be a GREAT weekend!:bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce:
