I know it's a long ways away, but I figured I'd post up anyway. I'm gonna try to make if my pregnant wife will let me. She says no right now but I'm gonna try and break her down. If I go it'll be for Wed thru Sun. It's gonna be May 14th- 20th at Golden Mtn Park in Sparta, TN. The info is on the STLCA forum. Hopefully my dad will be able to go or someone else and we can get a bunkroom. Post up if you're planning on making it!

Yup too close to my old home for me not to go , and this trip I am going to check out all the old trails I used to wheel when I was a kid, I hope they are not all closed or posted. With my crasy schedule I can't say for sure actural travel plans but I should be able to guarantee (health permitting) a saturday appearance at least. Hopefully Longer If I can get off for the days. I'm hoping to be able to take the Jeep behind the 62 this year with my new (to me) tow dolly. We'll have to see how that works.
It's in the rust removal/ painting stages right now, I'll post up some pics as soon as it's done. I'm hoping to finish this weekend with the weather being so warm.

You won't regret it...I've been every year since 2006 (I think). Always had a great time...Not to mention winning 2 sets of tires.
It's being run this year by STLCA instead of UC, so I won't be involved in the planning or running anything, although we might run some event or do a meal.
BTW This is the biggest Land Cruiser event east of the Mississippi.

My wife will be 7 months along then and as long as she doesn't change her mind my son and myself will be there. It will be a different experience this year for me. Gonna tent camp, have the Tacoma instead of the crawler and will have the kid with me. Light trails, lots of socializing, and playing with him. May change my mind and get a bunk if I get a 100% commit from the wife in time to grab one.
