Any thoughts on this FJ62?

I am looking into buying an FJ62. I came across this one on ebay and it looks pretty nice. I was wondering if anyone lives nearby Jasper, Al who could take a look at it for me. Let me know. . .thanks!!

If this has been an AL vehicle since new it should be rust free which is good.

Some things to ask. Does the 4WD vacuum switch work? These are notorious for failing and a new one is not cheap. Do all the windows function properly? Service history? Dealers personal vehicle but has (s)he owned it since new? Ad leads you to think so. How does the tranny shift? The A440Fs are expensive to repair. Is there a clunk when shifting into gear? This would be an indication of tranny shaft wear but there is a McNamara gear swap which can remedy this. Do the knuckles need maintenance?

The dash has been hacked. Had a CB antenna mount at one time on the left rear 1/4 panel.

$8k is way too much.

Just clicked on History Report. First years spent in NY and NJ, later FL. Bet it has undercarriage rust issues. It's been in an accident and there has been an inconsistent odometer reading.

$4.5 is too much.

Grill is different half chrome and then black. It should be all chrome.

Also driver seat fabric is different from others in picture.

Keep looking in classifieds and you can find a lot cheaper one.
