Got the Vokle's out last night, boots and all. Can't wait for the first snow.

We should do a Ski/Board night this Winter up at Snow Trails. On a Saturday or something.

Adds another dimension to the club..

Kewl...we need to make this a priority and get on the slopes. Lots of fun up there at Snow Trails.

BTW, Jim, I'm coming down on Friday with goodies and will call you this evening.

I'm in as well...though I sold my skis many years ago, I still go here locally and just rent the latest and greatest bump skis....

My knees don't ache yet, but I am starting feel they will after my first full marathon on the 15th!

Kick Ass.

If we can get enuff guys to go, we can get discounts on the passes...well, we need some snow too :grinpimp:

Snow?? I live in Ohio. I ski on gravel and ice.;p

Skiing on gravel isnt' the problem it's crashin that sucks!

Rumor has it Ohio's in for a harsh Winter this year.

We'll pick President's Day weekend for the gathering. See how it goes from there.

Is a harsh winter cold and snowy :bounce: (that's good in my book)
Or
is a harsh winter the same sh1t we've been getting: 34 degrees and rainy?:frown:

The latter is harsh on me.

Let's hit the slopes!:D

Cold and Snow...the colder the better I say as the sky is usually clear.

It's comin'...

It's snowing! Woohoo!!!!!

Can't wait to ski...

I am planning on buying my son a board and getting one myself. That way I can go slow and not destroy my weak old knees.

Any suggestions on where to buy snowboards and accessories??

Karl

Karl,

Snoboarding in Ohio can be brutal. I'd go see Butch at SkiSmith on Old Henderson.

X2 for the Skismith. Most of their people are educated & helpful.

Used gear is a good bet for little kids. They grow so fast that the used gear is only a season old, and they will only get a season out of it.
