I have a post 64 model 70 chambered in .270 Win with Bushnell scope (I'll have to get the numbers for the scope) that I just picked up in trade. Not much of a hunter so I'm thinking about offing it. LOCALS ONLY! No out of state sales. I know we've got some hunters here who Might be interested hence the feeler post. Shoot me a PM if you're looking.

Thanks Brian... Let me know. I'll be up in Prescott Valley on the 23rd for a going away party. I can bring it up if he wants to take a look at it then.

I hunt a bit, and wonder about your asking price. New rifles in that format without the scope are available at half the cost. The problem with a 270 is that it's not big enough for elk (for most shooters) and too heavy in weight and drop for our teeny arizona deer.
Still want to wheel with you though if it turns out my cruiser is not totally trashed.... I need a new gas tank for sure, '74 FJ40.... :)

Just based my price on what I was seeing. I'm open to offers and or trades.

Bump for new price...

B,
I may be interested...

I know you said you took in trade but what is the:

*Vintage (year)
*How many rounds through her?
*Stock Composite or Wood?
*Condition of Firing Pin (picture)
*Riflings condition?
*Pictures?

Maybe I should just come check it out...:D!

Josh,

Its in beautiful shape. Post 83 is all I know, with a super nice factory laminated stock. Send the bolt out for a polishing and she'd be as good as new. Rifling is nice and crisp. LMK when you get in and we can hook up for you to take a good look at it. I got some pics on my photobucket album... lemme get a link...
