Any good off road near West Yellowstone?

I will be in Yellowstone for a few months this summer. I think the closest place for me to exit the park would be on the west side near West Yellowstone. I see a lot of forestry roads in the area to explore. Is there any good wheeling areas to explore?

Yes there are some the other side of hebgen lake between their and Lima. some in island park and a

any more info about these areas? are the foresty roads or other things? i am slowly learning the area around West Yellowstone and have driven 191once to bozeman. i have been to Gardiner a few times but never north of it. i did find a fun unmaintained forest road just outside of West Yellowstone. It is 1756 just south pf town. nothing special but still fun.

Go to cooke city just past town is the road to dusty pass and goose lake pretty fun, there good roads above jardeen north of Gardner and in Tom Miner basin.

thanks i will give them a try. i will be in the tetons for the next few weeks but after that i should be able to get up there.
