Well while driving my dads 2000 Ford F-250 this morning i got into my second accident with it and this time it was my fault. Luckily no damage to dads truck but i rear ended an Infiniti G35 that'll need a new bumper. I was driving dads truck cause my 71 FJ40's down with a blown motor and i found another motor that was supposed to run but turned out it doesnt. Luckily i found a 2F that does run but badly and needs rebuilt. Unfortunately i cant find a knowledgable mechanic that will rebuild it and I'm lookin for one that does. Like it to be aound Winston-Salem but won't mind going to Charlotte or maybe Raliegh to get it done so i can drive my cruiser.

If insurance to fix the other guys car and mine goes up to much since im only 16 I might have to sell off all my stuff if anyones interested send me let me know.
Heres what i got
-1971 Orange FJ40 Blown motor with a good top end, 4spd floor conversion, good transfer case, bodys got rust with bondo and paint over it through out, tailgate version, has bucket seats from a ranger and original jump seats in the back.
-Junker 1973 FJ40, motor turns then stops not sure whats wrong but its good for parts, 3spd floor conversion, body completely shot but has solid rust free front doors with glass and good seals, barn doors could be patched up with some work, tops got soild sides and glass with good seals, but fiberglass top piece has been taken off and drivers side support to the windshield had been bent and taken off, no front axle but good rear end, original bucket seats s*** but can be reupholstered and have good frames, good gas tank, and has heater with rear heater.
-2F motor out of a 82 FJ60 that runs but needs rebuilt

I've had good luck with this guy in Liberty (just South of Burlington) for small stuff like coolant and transmission flushes. He usually has a 3-4 week wait time though.

Owner's name is Jeff. If you call him, tell him Jon Mabe sent you his way.

Also check w/ R & B machine in High Point. I just started calling around and popping in on places. Owners name is Ronnie, but a busy guy and anyone can help you there. 6-8 week turnaround if its not previously dissasembled.

I was told 7-900 for a rebuild if they were not replacing more than normal wear parts. 11-1200 if you started boring or getting new parts involved.

Good luck
