I have been unable to get a hold of the guy I am supposed to be buying this FJ60 from. Anyone got a nice one for sale? I mean a nice driver. Not a beat up trail rig. Not all hacked up, no v8's. I sure hope this guy gets a hold of me soon, but I need one within a few weeks as I have a baby on the way and a Pinz is not going to work for a carseat. Anyone? No 62's or anything with an automatic or power anything.

Also, there's a "wanted" section too. Might post there and get better results.

Word of advice though, as you're looking, there's a lot of bad Karma around a company called "Vintage Offroad" - check SOR (http://www.sor.com), they have a for sale section, too. AutoTrader isn't a bad source, either. There's usually not much in Hemmings, but you could look.

Pinz...sent you a PM

Dave

Fj60

I sent you a PM back. There is a million of these trucks for sale but looks like most of them are shot and none of them close to here that I have seen. The rust belt is not the place to look for older trucks that are in good shape I guess...

If your serious about a nice truck, I just sent TT an ad for my '86 FJ60. It's a very nice, rust free, well equipped rig. But it isn't cheap. Located in Seattle area. E-mail if interested.

I don't know where you are, I am new here but I used the search engine for nationwide searches on www.cars.com used cars. It turned up quite a bit some rusty some not...good luck. I would have also suggested slowspeed but for some reason I have a dead link. Finally the forum at www.coolcruisers.com is pretty good to ask for one again! Good luck

thanks all!

my daily driver for 8 years, all work performed by Toyota ASE mechanic (he even fixed my screw ups). Receipts for twice my asking price...which means nothing but I thought you'de like to know.

oh yeah, i remember your post about the land on chit chat maybe? didn't realize you had to sacrifice the cruisers though. you are still making the right decision though. land beats cruiser for sure.

good luck with the sale!

Why not an equipped 62? like mine

http://www.cruiserland.com/89fj62/89fj62.htm

Nice thing about mine is you can drive it with your hands and on those hot days in Baja you hang your feet out the window for a little refresher

Good luck in your quest for the perfect 60
