I searched the site but didn't find the answers to my questions.
I'm looking for some advice or a recommendation on what I should use for spring shackles as I start to put this rig back together.
The OME light/standard duty spring kit that I bought came with greasable shackles and the anti inversion plates that you weld onto the spring hangers. Should I use these, or should I go ahead and buy some of the triangle shaped anti inversion shackles?
What are the pros and cons of using the welded plates vs. the triangular shackles on a FJ45 LPB?
What have others used on their LPB's when using these springs, and how does your truck sit? (PICS) I don't plan on doing any wheeling in my truck, it will more or less be pampered.
