I'm looking for another trip to Cliffs before the Jamboree. Maybe even as soon as this Sunday. My free days are (um, this Sunday, and) June 14/15, or July 19/20.

Let me know if you're interested in one of these days.

I know some people are going to Badlands this weekend, but I'm only free Sunday. And Badlands is too far for that.

REgards,
Kenton

I would most likely probably be in for this sunday. I know todd and 4rnr and going. They may or may not be doing some more difficult trails. For me following them would be kinda stupid if since I am still stock except for my tires. Well see how my truck is after the badlands on Sat but like I said I should be in

We will be there on sunday. In fact the whole day was originally planned because you (Kenton) said you and the pinz were going on the 1st. but since then we kinda figured were bailing. But yup we will be there im kinda aching for the stupid s***, but we will see what the group looks like.

We'll be there. If it's real sloppy and the river's deep, since mr pinz doesn't want to roll his :princess: we may stay on the outer loop. B-O-O-O-R-I-N-G for 4rnr and those hankering for stupid sh*t.

Anyone tried the Rock Garden or whatever they call it? Does anyone have a recent map of the place? The last time I went they were out or at least I didn't get one, and the only one I have is from right after they opened.

I dont really have a new one besides they suck.

I know of 2 guys who may come and they to will stick to the easier stuff. 1 is boring but 10 is fun and the pinz SHOULD be able to handle it. stock fjc's have done it. Then you could go down 7.... no real chance of a roll on those trails.

The rock garden is fun and suprisingly difficult.

Just rolled back from the Cliff's with Oldnslo. I pulled in the lot at 9 and it was bone dry! I went and played on the tires until the slow one arrived. He brought a torrential downpour with him. The place was instant mud soup! 1 was sloppy the whole way through but manageable as was 2 and 3. We tried 1 the wrong way but only got 2/3rds of the way up Superman. Slid the entire way down and nearly sharted myself. 10 was almost too sloppy to play. I got strapped out twice by a little dude in his J**P. Once decently stuck, the other was avoiding a roll over on 10. Brian ran shotgun with me most of the day and even wheeled the 62. I think he enjoyed it. The lockers worked like a charm and left only 1 part on the trail. If you find my rear sway bar, give it to Tom so he can sell it back to me for cheap! Anyway...

The 62 is now properly baptized.

Thanks Joe and Tom for helping to try to scare my dad on his first trip. Man it was nice to beat the s*** out of my truck:grinpimp:

Oh and that PINZ was cool as hell!!

Wow that was a beautiful day-- the trails were very muddy, but what's new, as expected after the huge rain Friday.
Thanks for riding along, BAMF in his 4Runner and Dick in his Pinzgauer. The exo-crowd split off and headed into the creek. We started up the hill on 1 going backwards/clockwise. About half-way or so, I stuck myself in the mud and Dick got to try out his front recovery point yanking me backwards. He then proceeded to Almost Roll it avoiding another mudhole, but at around 40 degrees of tilt, after teetering and Dick puckered to his seat, it groaned and settled back down. We finished 1 without much more excitement, had lunch and decided to go North on 3 and the up 10 backwards, to dial up the fun a little more. I got stuck a few more times, and just when we were nearing the end I buried myself good enough that we were standing around scratching our heads. 4rnr, John and Gumby showed up right about then, gave us a few tugs and we finished. I escorted the Pinzgauer back to camp, BAMF stuck around with the rescue crew.
Damage: BAMF, not I could see. Me, some pinstriping and an extra growl/hole in the exhaust. Dick, a dented side-box and scuffed canvas top.
Thanks, I think everyone had some fun, I'm not going to make mid-June but maybe July 19/20 to shake-down my (by then) running 4runner before the Jamboree.

p.s. Here's a pic I took. Dick said his passenger (Stan) will either post the pics or send them to me and I'll post.

I'm sorry but these pics are like getting head from an ugly woman. All I can see is the top of her unwanted head. Show me some meat dammit!

web wheelers

I'm not too good with analogies, but did you just say you want to see your meat when getting head?

Anyway, here's some more-- sans head meat unfortunately...

Love the pinz. great pics....I'm thinking of going on sunday if anyone is interested!

Having never been to the Cliffs, I can see from these pics that having your pressure washer in fine tune is a bonus. Nice "soup"!!
That Pinz is sweet.......could it make it through "Orange" at the Badlands or is it too big?
Phil, I want wheeling pics of big blue!!!

It would have no problem at the badlands. The badlands is way wider than the cliffs!
