Another project trailer (1 Viewer)

Well,, I sold my 416 a while back to a guy who had an old flatfender.. It was rusty and needed a restoration bad.. I got 400 for it and had others banging on my virtual door for 6 weeks after I sold it.. I kinda wish I kept it due to the price of steel going up and health issues that have kept me from working in the garage. When driving around the other day,, nice 100 degree day in ne pa,, very odd this time of year ,, I came upon a 416 on the side of the road. Talked to the seller,, and ended up bringing it home for about 2 bills.. lots of surface rust, but no rust holes,, lots of dents in the bed too.. I can fix them,, I think. The p-brake works and it tows well, 45 minute tow home..

The peeling paint and rust make it look pre-camo'd LOL.

Nothing some sanding discs and wire wheels won't cure.

Well,,
That project might be over already,, The guy I got it from had two more,, so,, of course I went down and worked out a deal.. brought them home,, put them up for sale local and then on some other forums not so local.. I had an offer for the best two and 3 offers for whatevers left at the end of the weekend. Now I'm not making a killing but I'm making some scratch.. Might be able to afford the steel for the new trailer now,,, wait don't count the eggs,, whatever.. I'll post more pics of what it looks like if what happens is what I expect this weekend..

Where I got the trailers, about 40 minutes south it was 101,, but up here on top of the mountain we just barely hit 90.. And I'm not that high up.. But yep,, down in philly like 30 deaths from the heat..
