I've researched and haven't quite found my answer. Replaced the DS window motor a few months ago, now my window won't stay in the track. It seems that the track has two rollers in it that are connected to two arms that move while the window goes up and down. One of the rollers keeps breaking, the part that fits inside the roller won't stay in the roller.
I can put it back together by squeezing it in a C clamp, but it keeps popping out under the weight of the window. I also noticed that when it is put all back together (window duct tapped all the way up) that the track seems flimsy, like there is too much front to back movement. Seems like something should be holding it steady in place.
Sorry for the non-mechanical techinical names, at least I didn't call it a "thingy". Clear as mud?
Thanks for the help!
