Rattlesnake. Looks like it might be a western diamondback. If this photo was taken in Ohio the snake was transported there because there are no diamondbacks in Ohio. More likely the photo is not from OH. It also looks large enough to have gone through several shed cycles which means it would have a rattle of at least a few segments. Rattles can be lost so lack of a rattle does not always equal "not a rattlesnake."
Head of a bullsnake would be much more narrow. Look up a photo and you can easily tell the difference.
