Just Finished This One, What Do You Think

Which OME springs did you install?

Looks good, I will have the same setup in a few weeks.
ARB bumper, my old Warn XD9000 winch, and the 3" OME lift.

I am betting you used the 886 springs up front for the weight, and 895s back aft for stock weight back there.
That is what I am going with.

I am also going with the IPF fogs in the bumper and the Tacoma switch in the dash.

Just had a customer show up yesterday at work to buy a pair of our sliders with the OME on his, looked great running teflon Mojaves and 285 BFG muds, but he said the ride was a bit firm with the medums, he recommended the lights up front. We have a full kit on the way in to do some testing on and will begin stocking & selling the OME kits in addition to the Walker Evans coilover line very soon.

I didn't measure it before the lift so i'm not sure but i'm guessing 3in because the 33's don't rub even at full lock to lock.

What can you tell me about your rims?
Size, make, price, off set.
I am having trouble find some one who can tell me what rims and sizes will fit 33x12.5 with out rubbing.
Thanks

They are Moto Metals 17x9. They only come in one offset in that size for 6 lug so its a no brainer.

Fresh OME lift today, Walker 17x8.5 beadlocks & BFG 35x12.5R15 MT's. Yes they rub, lift will be replaced with WE when they come off backorder for another inch and no rubbing.

Were do they rub? Just at the body mount? Is there a big power lose? Do you sell lower gears yet? Sorry for all the questions. I would like to get 35's next. Currently running 285 MT/R's and might just go with a true 33". My lift is 3.5" up front and 2.5" in back. Thanks for answering any of these questions.

Power loss wasnt huge, the tires are only 3" taller than stock and the 4.0L has gobs of power relative to older Cruisers and trucks. The tires rub at the body mount, and its cut & clearanced, so a Walker Evans lift is in the works so it can be used off road, but it works good enough on the street if you are looking for a pavement pounder. We do have gears in 4.88 right now, but they are pricey and the 2 sets in stock were air shipped @ $130 each, so that adds to the tab. We will have a stock order coming in next month without the $130 freight surcharge if you are patient. 4.56's are on the way as well.

Thanks Rockcrawler

I'm looking at 35's for offroad. Wondering if they will rub when fully stuffed under the fenders during articulation. Still trying to decide what tires to go with next. I just slashed the sidewall of my MT/R and looking to trade for new tread.

You guys will have to let us know how the new gearing works out.
