I recently noticed a noise when turning right at full lock driver's side only. No noise from the passenger's side in either direction and no noise from the driver's if turning left. Jacked her up, had my wife hold the steering wheel at full lock, and tried to replicate the noise via manual rotation of the wheel. Nothing. Today I pulled the wheel off, jacked up the LCA to simulate the CV angles, had my wife hold the wheel, and again rotated via the lugs to try and find the culprit. Again nothing. When I went to put the wheel back on I noticed an older style wheel weight (not the newer stick-on kind) attached to the inside of the rim. It is visibly ground down. I also noticed a spot on the stabilizer control arm that is worn down to bare metal. None of the other wheels have one if these style weights and I recently had the tires rotated which explains why it wasn't happening before.

Good investigative work. I didn't realize the clearances were so tight? Stock rims? The easy and obvious fix is to have the wheel balanced with stick on weights.

Yeah, stock wheels. I plan to have it removed at the next rotation or tire replacement. Whichever comes first.
