ok i think this is my 3rd post on carbs this week.
i fixed the last problem (surging rpms. i got a carb from a friend) but now i got the new carb on there and at first it started great. it started fine, idle great.
i let in run for about 5 min in the garage, then i took it around the block and it runs GREAT but when i made the last curve it died!!!
i let it sit a few min. and i barely got it to restart and i limped home with the choke all the way out.
i got back in the garage and opened the hood.( i still had the air assemply off) and i open the hood as the cruiser dies again. what i see is gaseous vapor that smelled like gas coming out the top of the engine side carb barrel.
i then let it sit some more and tried to re-start and i cant see any gas in the window??
Does it just need some tuning, how do i adjust the float, or am i now where near the right solution??
Also on a side note my air in the cabin as been workin on and off. mostly off and now with the new carb it works great again. is there any connection from air blower in cabin to the carb, or am i so tired i am imagining things????????
