I paid 6500 for a hail damaged LC with 256k lol. I think it all comes down to availability in your area. Luckily the current owner of mine was meticulous in caring for it. Practically everything had been replaced already. He greased the drive line every 2k miles and it had 0 rust. There were several LX470's in the area but most had AHC which i did NOT want. One i found had the AHC replaced with yota OEM springs and shocks and they wants 10,9 for it with 186k. I would EASILY pay 1k more for 80k miles off the odometer. If i could have found a LC with lower miles i would have jumped all over it but they just don't come up everyday as I'm sure you ALL know.

My best advice is test drive it on the interstate. Take it up to about 80-85 and let off the gas. Do this with the O/D on and off. Be mindful of any vibrations specifically when letting off the gas. This test pertains to the transmission and the rear pinion. The engines are nothing to worry about but the trans do need servicing around 120-150k and it's good to know if it's already showing signs of wear.

Those are some damn good prices. I would be weary of rust on the gold LX as trucks from around those parts can be bad.
$11,900 is not bad especially considering dealer servicing as they should be little if any reconditioning.

Also, AHC really seems to be underestimated in these parts. There are scores of now 17 year old LX's here with zero issues.
