IMO T would be needed period, $$$$ all the same or darn near close, extra tq and HP far
outways the min amount of $$$ more. I thought about this swap for about the last 7 yrs, you still
have the same problems T or no T, so more power, better MPG, etc.... quick shift 5 speed or tight auto, conversions to GM trans, etc...... I also like the later twin T setup and engines as well, but more $$$$$$$$$
I have wiring schematic for the 7t for standalone, around here somewhere.

make at least a half dozen or so trips to tuttle each season, looking to do another mid to end of OCT.
