Ambulance Doors on a 71 body

I want to put amby doors on my 71. I've read a few threads on mud and it sounds possible if I change a few other parts:

1. Roof
2. Top plate (above the doors that connects to the roof)
3. Modify the door sill
4. Add hinges for the tops of the doors (looks like the bottom hinges may be the same)

Anyone done this before?

I'd also like to change the bumper to the 74 style (rectangle lights) while I'm at it.

Any feedback or thoughts on this?
