Thought I'd pass on the event in case anyone needs info or is planning on going. Its good opportunity to take the exam, maybe find a deal on a radio and network with the locals. In my opinion, this is good path for ONSC to offer local help during emergency situations where our vehicles capabilities can be offered for help...

I agree wholeheartedly. However, only HAM operators can be a part of that emergency net, right?

It's another reason for everyone to get their license!

Yep, this show is the biggest one around. It's a great place to go check out radios and see how things work.
If your ready for the test (doesn't take much for technician) it's a good place to take it.

I'll be out there helping out so if anyone makes it catch up with me and I'll show you around and answer any questions I can.
