I recently stepped up and put 285/75 Bridgestone Revos on my 2000 and, frankly, the is ride noticeably rougher than the Michelins I was running previously. I am a bit suprised as these tires have received such rave reviews on this forum and tirerack.com. My truck does seem to handle better but the ride is much, much rougher than I expected.
Is it because the 285s are Load Range D?
I run the tires at 35 PSI and have tried various pressures but no luck with improvement in ride quality.
I dont want to start a flame war but was just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience as me. Please keep in mind that I realize that the 285s are a off-road tire but despite this I still feel that ride quaility is lacking.
