This is a very interesting development I hadn’t heard of before. Wish I had known and could have possibly prevented the leak. I definitely did like the radiator and it seemed to work well before failing.

I currently use Ron Davis radiators in my swaps. RD radiators, along with other aluminum radiator manufacturers, recommends running a ground strap to the radiator. The science behind this is that if the grounds in the overall system provide resistance some bleed off is somewhat common to the liquid in the cooling system, basically electrolysis. This leads to corrosion of the aluminum in the radiator. The radiator is rubber mounted providing no ground path.

I second this question and raise you this; what coolants are you folks using with these aluminum radiators? I just ordered mine this morning.Is there any preferred method to ground an Al radiator? Basic, decent sized wire anywhere?
