The aluminum Radiator that AA sells (or another vendor if you recomend one), can that be bolted into a 45 lv?

Thinking I might try to use the stock radiator, but if it starts giving me problems I want to replace it with an aluminum one.

Just kinda want to know if the aluminum rad's are thicker than the stock rad or if it will slide down and bolt onto the stock bracket? Once the V8's welded in, I guess I don't want to come and find out that the aluminum one is an inch thicker or something and is now hitting the fan?

Thanks, Matt

if it fits a 40.......its fits a 45....assuming stock.

I have used the Be Cool on a numer of conversions, bolts right in, the shroud might have some mods required, minor.....I hae not seen the MAF but hear it is a Be Cool.

Butch,

What fan are you running? If it is not electric did you utilize the the stock shroud?

Thanks, Matt

Reverse rotation units Serpentine belt I use a7 blade 3.8 Cougar or Tbird, about 17", On other standard rotation I use a 4.1 7 blade Caddy fan Stock shroud, on my truck I have no shroud, and it cools fine.
Here's a Taurus fan on one I did.

Butch,

That electric fan in the pics is off a Ford Taurus? What years? Looks like it fits nicely.

Not real sure, take your measurements and go to the boneyard, I know the Contours Lincolns Sables etc all use the same 2 speed fan, it churns tons of air, the only difference in them is the plastic shroud.
