my $$$ aluminium radiator may have a leak...anyone know any good shops that repair aluminum radiators...this one is totally aluminum. I see some fluid at the bottom tank and have smelled coolant for some time.
Noticed the fluid when I pulled my contour fans off, to swap over to GM mechanical fan clutch and fan.
I'm in process of working to get engine to set square with the radiator and figure out a fan shroud setup. Along the way hopefully we'll figure out where this coolant leak is.
Radiator is 100% aluminium....core +tanks. If repair is needed ...looking for someone who knows what they are doing....most likely someone who deals with hot-rods / custom car setups?
Looking for recomendations.... within reasonable distance of Cullman, AL.
I may go back to stock Toyota radiator.... got to figure out whats going on first...Not sure its the radiator right now, but would like to ask in advance if anyone knows a good radiator shop that deals with these type radiators.
