Has anyone on the forum had luck rebuilding the factory Denso alternator on their GX470 themselves? The parts seem very reasonable in price.

Please post the part number for the rebuild kit.

There’s a few alternator rebuild places around the LA area and I have my stock oem Lexus alternator (Denso) sitting in a box.

I kept it when I got a reman denso alternator as preventive maintenance 6 years ago.

My concern is the rebuild places do not replace the rectifier if it tests OK when they do the rebuild. I found out that is a common failure.
