Alternative to FSM PDF's found?
this just dawned on me and might be out of line. but:
I've noticed that the FSM pdfs that are circulating are pretty much just scans of the pages and are non searchable and such (you can't search for words that are just pictures).
I'd be willing to sit and scan an FSM and then use my OCR software (optical character recognition) to make the thing searchable. That way, you can type in what you are looking for and it will show you what page to go to... I am a newbie and am constantly 'flipping' through these pages looking for what i need to see and i think this would benefit lots of folks, even those with physical copies. I COULD print out the pdf that i have and rescan with OCR but it'd degrade the copy really bad to scan it twice.
again, this might be out of line but I'm just trying to add to the community and make life a little easier.
