knowing that the front Mudflaps are super expensive and hard to find, has anyone found a basic flap that will fit the front of our rigs?

Taking it a step further, has anyone finagled a DIY mudflap from an off-brand vehicle?? Sacrilege I know

I have rear flaps but it would be nice to have both. Spending 100+ on two pieces of plastic is pushing it for me.

I want to see some of these on a 60, buy them and post pics....:)

PLEASE NOTE: the p.o of my rig monster lined the wheel wells, subsequently covering some additional screws that you can use to mount these flaps. However, I found that using one bolt holds the flaps to my liking. I will be making some braces like the OEM flaps and will post more pictures then, in the meantime LMK what you guys think

The material is actually very nice, they don't feel cheap. The rest of you could easily mount this flap using the two existing holes that would be available for the OEM flaps.

The flaps were $26.00 from pep boys using the PEP20 discount (fyi you can get 25% off as of today 3/31/16). A very nice alternative to spending 100 PER Flap for Toyota mud guards. Below is the actual model mud flap I ended up using

How do you guys not rip these off while backing up?

that's been my concern so I just left mine off. until I got pulled over earlier this week. I found my rear OEM ones but the mounting holes on the fender are all rusted out. once the body is done then I'll mount them again. I'm hoping that I can get away with a shorter flap so it won't grab the tire going backwards. may not happen but im not in the rocks that much where I think is the most common place for them to rip off. I like the ones yeti posted for the front.
