I was heading home after work yesterday, and spied an 80 (I think) on a flatbed, exiting ahead of me on Cactus. First thought was, "bummer, that's the second broken down Cruiser I've seen this week."
Saw a busted 40 on the 101 on Saturday. Was that anyone here? Woulda stopped, but we were towing the boat and on a deadline. Didn't look like there was anyone with the vehicle anyhow.
Anyway, as I got closer to the 80, I saw it was not on a tow truck, but was actually on a trailer, being towed by a big ass Dodge pick up, along with some furniture. Had NM plates, so I figured they're new in town.
It was a pretty sweet LC - dark green, lifted, beefy bumpers front (the kind with the rails that go over the front fenders) and back, winch, high lift jack. And it had loads of pinstriping, so we know it gets wheeled.
We both went west on Cactus until 51st Ave, when I had to stop at the store. So I lost 'im.
But I wanted to give a shout out and say welcome!

Travelin', campin', takin the boat out on the lake. Not much wheeling until I get a few things done.
